Hi there and welcome!
I’m Sarah, a nutrition enthusiast with a (healthy) obsession for food. I’m also a “why”
person – if I don’t know why I’m doing something, I find it hard to stick to. So for people
like me, I want to explain not just what to eat, by why it’s important. That approach also
subtly slides you into a positive frame of mind – if you’re focusing on the benefits of food,
you’re more likely to seek healthy options, value them, and eat more of the good stuff.

Everyone can eat for performance, from athletes to office workers – anyone can choose
foods that will improve focus, energy, and make you feel good.
The same diet is not best for everyone – it depends on lifestyle, personal choice, health
conditions, and access to food. Whether it’s lower carb, higher protein, Paleo, DASH, or
gluten-free, there IS a best eating pattern for you!
Food should taste good.
Food should feel good.
Food should be valued and shared.
I did my Bachelor’s degree at Franklin & Marshall College, my Master of Science (MS)
in Human Nutrition at Drexel University, and a dietetic internship through Utah State
University’s distance program to become a Registered Dietitian (RD). I grew up on a dairy
farm in Pennsylvania, do pottery as a hobby, and love to do yoga, kickboxing, and run to
stay active. I also work for Potomac Vegetable Farms in Reston, VA.
